What payment methods we accept
We accept major payment methods at checkout (available options depend on your country and what you select at checkout):
- Major credit & debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Local & regional gateways where available (e.g., Paystack, Flutterwave)
- Gift cards or store credit, when issued by SNKRDOME
If a payment option is not shown at checkout, it is not available for your order or location at that time.
How payments are processed
- Payments are processed securely by our platform and our trusted payment partners (for example: Paystack, Flutterwave and the card networks).
- We do not directly process card verification or store full card numbers on our servers. Where card details are stored for convenience, they are tokenized and held by our payment partners.
- The final charge you see at checkout (including shipping, duties, and taxes where applicable) is the amount that will be billed to your payment method.
Prices, currency & conversion
- Prices are shown in the currency selected at checkout.
- If your card or payment method uses a different currency, your bank or provider may apply a conversion rate or foreign transaction fee. These are set by your bank — not SNKRDOME.
- We display taxes, duties, and any fees as required in checkout or our Shipping Policy. Where we state shipping and duties are covered, that commitment applies as described in the Shipping Policy.
Authorization, holds & pre-authorizations
- Some orders may require a temporary authorization or pre-authorization on your card to verify funds. This is not a charge — it’s a hold that is released according to your bank’s policies.
- In rare cases (high-value orders, high-demand drops), we may place an authorization to protect against fraud and confirm payment availability. Any authorization hold is released according to your card issuer’s timelines.
Failed payments or declined transactions
If a payment fails or is declined:
- Check that card number, expiration date, CVV, and billing address match what your bank has on file.
- Try a different payment method or contact your bank (sometimes issuers block unfamiliar transactions).
Saved payment methods & security
- For convenience, you may be offered the option to save a payment method for future purchases. Saved payment information is stored as encrypted tokens by our payment partners — SNKRDOME does not store full card numbers or CVVs on our servers.
- We follow industry-standard security practices. Our partners are PCI-compliant and use strong encryption to protect payment data.
Fraud prevention & order review
- We use automated tools and manual review to protect customers from fraud and to keep drops fair. This may include checks on billing/shipping address consistency, device signals, and unusual purchasing patterns.
- If we detect suspicious activity, we may place an order on hold, request verification, or cancel the order. We’ll notify you and explain any next steps.
Refunds, cancellations & chargebacks
- Refunds and cancellations follow the timelines and rules in our Refund Policy. Always check that policy for details.
- If you dispute a charge with your bank (a chargeback), please contact us immediately at contact.snkrdome@gmail.com — we work quickly to resolve disputes and will provide supporting information where appropriate. Repeated or unjustified chargebacks may result in order cancellation or account restrictions.
Recurring payments & subscriptions
- If you sign up for any subscription service or recurring payment through SNKRDOME, the terms for that service (billing interval, cancellation, refunds) will be shown at sign-up and in the related product/service terms. Contact us for questions about recurring billing.
Gift cards & store credit
- Gift cards and store credits (if issued) are subject to the terms provided at purchase. They may not be refundable and may have expiry or usage restrictions as stated at issuance.
Taxes, duties & international orders
- Applicable taxes and duties are shown at checkout where required. If we state in shipping that we cover duties and import fees, that commitment applies per the Shipping Policy. For clarity on tax treatment in your region, please see our Shipping Policy or contact us.
